Director of Project Development

Salary: $6,000 - $10,000 USD Per month.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced development specialist to oversee the comprehensive business development and brand management initiatives of a prestigious golf course in Cambodia. 

The ideal candidate will drive investment efforts, manage high-end client relationships, build a high-performing team, and ensure the profitability and prestigious reputation of the course.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investment & Business Development: Spearhead investment attraction initiatives, forge strategic partnerships, secure high-end brand collaborations, events, and sponsorships to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Marketing & Brand Promotion: Design and implement effective marketing and brand strategies to attract a high-end clientele, enhance market influence, and cultivate member loyalty.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with VIP clients and manage the membership system, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through superior service.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, build, and lead a professional operations team; optimize organizational structure and processes to enhance team performance, execution, and service standards.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, control operating costs, identify efficiencies, and drive profitability to ensure the golf course's financial health and sustainable growth.
  • Event & Tournament Planning: Conceptualize, plan, and execute high-profile golf tournaments, exclusive corporate invitationals, and social events to elevate the course's market appeal and prestige.
  • Stakeholder & Industry Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders including government bodies, industry associations, media representatives, and influential social circles.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: Experience in golf course operations management, or significant time in a senior leadership role within the golf industry.
  • Business Development Acumen: Demonstrated success in investment attraction, partnership development, and securing high-end brand collaborations; proven ability to cultivate high-net-worth client networks.
  • Market Insight: Strong understanding of the high-end consumer market, luxury services, and current trends within the golf industry; ability to develop strategies responsive to market demands.
  • Language & Communication: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential. Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with international clients and partners.
  • Management & Leadership: Exceptional leadership capabilities, strong cross-departmental coordination skills, and a proven track record of effective team management and driving business results.
  • Customer Service Excellence: A strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service, particularly tailored to a high-end clientele, focused on building lasting relationships and ensuring member satisfaction.
  • Results Orientation: Highly results-driven with a clear focus on achieving performance targets, managing budgets effectively, and driving consistent profitability growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience managing internationally acclaimed golf courses, luxury resorts, or prestigious sports clubs.
  • Experience in organizing or managing major international golf tournaments and/or securing significant brand partnerships.
  • Familiarity with adjacent luxury markets such as high-end real estate or luxury goods, along with an established network in these areas.
