Our client, a dynamic leader in various real estate and hospitality ventures, including residential developments, commercial properties, and resort destinations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting for a variety of complex projects. This individual will provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, planning, and project evaluation.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers of financial performance across diverse asset classes.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for executive management and stakeholders.
  • Analyze investment opportunities, including land acquisitions, development projects, and potential partnerships, providing sound recommendations.
  • Support complex financial structures such as JV projects, Family Office initiatives, Land Trusts, and Land Syndication.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards specific to real estate and hospitality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (development, sales, operations) to gather financial data and insights.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to real estate and hospitality and monitor progress toward strategic objectives.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring optimal financial performance.
  • Foster a culture of financial discipline and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years (S.E. Asia) experience in a senior finance analysis position, ideally within real estate or hospitality.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
  • Strong experience with JV projects, Family Office initiatives, Land Trusts, and Land Syndication.
  • Proven track record of delivering solid financial planning and analysis that drives business results.
  • Moderate knowledge of business law, particularly as it relates to real estate transactions.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data.
  • Fluent in English; Chinese (Preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the logistics and e-commerce landscapes.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
