We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to become an integral part of our client's kitchen's leadership team. This role offers a salary of $400 per month, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a service charge, staff meals, uniform, and tips.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and maintaining supplies.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain standards and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in menu development, incorporating innovative and seasonal dishes.
- Assisting with the preparation of dishes as necessary.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years experience in a Sous Chef or similar role.
- Speak English
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
- A creative approach to menu development and a passion for culinary excellence.
