Senior Business Development Lead – Real Estate

Role Overview

This senior position is responsible for building and leading a new business arm targeting Korean investors and manufacturers for a major industrial development in Cambodia. Reporting directly to the board, the role covers every step from market assessment and strategy to deal execution and relationship management, playing a pivotal role in expanding into the Korean market.

Main Responsibilities

• Seek out, engage, and maintain ties with Korean clients, partners, and investors.
• Conduct comprehensive research to evaluate Korean market trends and opportunities.
• Design and carry out strategies for entry, sales, and marketing aimed at Korean stakeholders.
• Lead deal negotiations, close agreements, and oversee the setup of partnerships or joint ventures.
• Represent the project at industry events relevant to Korea and build enduring business networks.
• Submit regular updates and analyses on business development activity, providing actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Real Estate, Architecture, Business, Finance, or similar field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in real estate development, investment, or asset management.
• Fluent/native Korean and strong English language abilities.
• Proven experience closing deals with Korean corporates or institutional investors; background with commercial and industrial property is essential.
• Expertise in business strategy, financial modeling, and integrating resources.
• Demonstrates initiative, critical thinking, independence, teamwork, and adaptability.
• Experience in Southeast Asia is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally on short notice.
