Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Site Engineer to lead and grow our Charleston offices civil site practice. This leadership role involves driving strategic growth, managing multidisciplinary teams, mentoring staff, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, local market knowledge, and business development experience to expand our presence in the Lowcountry region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate the strategic growth plan with office managers and practice leaders.

• Establish and grow market presence through marketing and business development.

• Manage the departmental budget and allocate resources effectively.

• Lead and contribute to the production of proposals for new projects.

• Serve as a technical expert and resource for project managers and staff.

• Assess staffing needs, interview, hire, and onboard new team members.

• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and leadership.

• Ensure projects meet quality standards, client expectations, and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.

• 10+ years of experience in site civil engineering.

• Proven project management and business development experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Strong leadership, mentorship, and client relationship skills.
