Position Overview
We are seeking a Service/Test Technician to join a leading testing systems and equipment manufacturing company. This role is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and calibrating HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems to ensure product quality and performance. The ideal candidate has technical expertise in HVAC/R, electrical systems, and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Start up, troubleshoot, and perform tests on standard product lines, including refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair issues with equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Conduct basic final assembly work and system adjustments.
- Ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
- Document test results, equipment performance, and troubleshooting solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing and quality control processes.
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve design and production issues.
- Implement and follow Lean and 5S processes for efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 4+ years of experience working with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Competent with computer systems, including Google Suite.
- Experience in a test or service technician role within a manufacturing or commercial environment preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies and test standards (ASTM, IEC, ISO, MIL-STD).
- Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and assembly.
