Location: Lexington, NC (On-site)

A leading steel manufacturer is seeking an experienced Shift Electrician to support its operations in Lexington, NC. As a key team member, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems, troubleshoot automation equipment, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Support and troubleshoot PLC systems and automation technologies.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to optimize performance.
• Execute predictive and preventive maintenance using computerized systems.
• Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, standards, and regulations.
• Work a rotating schedule with potential for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience OR equivalent military training.
• Associate degree (or higher) in Electrical or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in steel mill electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of power systems, hydraulics, and automation.
• Proven ability to contribute to process improvements and team collaboration.
• Additional certifications or advanced degrees in Electrical or related fields.
