Position Overview

We are seeking a Controls Electrical Engineer to join our team, working on the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for specialized machinery. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components for industrial machinery.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for electrical projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical control issues efficiently.
  • Perform testing, data collection, and system analysis to optimize machine performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation and controls.

Required Qualifications

  • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical engineering and automation.
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming, circuit design, and industrial control systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automation equipment, transformers, wire and cable machinery.
  • Familiarity with custom tooling, tensioning devices, and electrical control design.
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing or machine-building environment.
