About the Role

We are seeking both an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and a Professional Engineer (PE) to support municipal water and wastewater projects. These positions offer long-term career growth, hands-on project experience, and the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects.

The EIT role will focus on design, plan production, and engineering support, while the PE role will involve project management, oversight, and construction administration.

Key Responsibilities

For EIT:

  • Assist in preparing design plans, specifications, and reports for municipal water/wastewater infrastructure.
  • Support the design and production of treatment plants, pump stations, storage facilities, and distribution systems.
  • Perform calculations and assist in hydraulic modeling for drainage and treatment systems.

For PE:

  • Lead and maintain project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates.
  • Assist project managers with construction administration, including submittals, contracts, and bidding processes.
  • Supervise and provide oversight to EITs, drafters, subcontractors, and inspectors to ensure project completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred).
  • EIT certification (for EIT role) or PE license (for PE role).
  • At least 1 year of experience for EIT, 5+ years for PE in municipal water/wastewater design.
  • Experience with drainage design is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of construction documentation, including submittals, pay applications, and contracts.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, WaterCAD, and ArcGIS.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
