Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of field projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will organize and oversee construction procedures to ensure timely and efficient completion. This role requires a strong understanding of civil construction methods and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall planning and coordination of civil construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Determine required resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to determine project specifications.
  • Monitor and enforce safety procedures, regulatory compliance, and quality control standards.
  • Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Plan construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Supervise laborers, mechanics, and other team members; provide guidance as needed.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management, architects, and owners regarding project status.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale civil projects.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality and health & safety standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with construction/project management software such as Procore, Foundation, Bid 2 Win, or Trimble (preferred).
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
