Anaplan Model Builder/Developer (Contract - Hybrid, New York, NY)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Anaplan Model Builder/Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Anaplan to support incentive compensation management, performance reporting, analytics, planning, and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and develop Anaplan applications, including data models and dashboards.
  • Ensure new and existing Anaplan models are designed in an integrated and optimized manner.
  • Maintain and enhance current Anaplan models, capturing requirements for automation and integration of data and processes.
  • Perform testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues for optimal performance.
  • Provide technical/application support and troubleshooting for Anaplan applications, working closely with end-users.
  • Stay updated with Anaplan features and enhancements, identifying opportunities to leverage them for improved incentive compensation, analytics, and planning.
  • Collaborate with finance, IT, and data teams to ensure seamless integration of Anaplan with other systems.
  • Document technical specifications, system configurations, and development processes for knowledge transfer and system maintenance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Anaplan product, including at least 3 implementations focused on incentive compensation and revenue models.
  • Strong experience in Anaplan model building and financial/enterprise performance management processes (incentive compensation, analytics, planning, budgeting, forecasting).
  • Passion for creating holistic, end-to-end, integrated solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge constructively and optimize manual processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to document complex models and processes professionally.
  • Anaplan certification is a plus
