Data Analyst Part-Time Contract

Pay Rate: $43/hr | 2025 hours/week

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst for a part-time contract role supporting financial reporting and data management for a leading financial services organization. This role involves gathering, processing, and reconciling financial data, ensuring timely and accurate reporting while supporting daily surveillance workflows.

Preferred work hours are 9AM2PM, with in-office presence at least Tuesday and Wednesday.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and process financial report submissions, including following up on missing or late reports.

• Save financials in appropriate repositories, manage extensions/waivers, and process fines for late reports.

• Accurately enter financial data into AFRS (Automated Financial Reporting System) and track workflow completion.

• Oversee and review daily surveillance emails to ensure tasks are completed (negative news, missing reports, account changes, etc.).

• Conduct daily review for items requiring same-day action.

• Reconcile reporting and trackers to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Background and Skills

• Knowledge of financial reporting (Income Statements, Balance Sheets).

• Experience with credit and financial statement analysis.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
