Job Title: PMO Specialist

Work Timings: 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST

We are seeking an experienced PMO Specialist with a strong background in Jira administration and project setup to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in setting up new projects, creating and managing dashboards, generating queries, and developing filters to ensure effective project tracking and reporting. This role will support cross-functional teams in optimizing project workflows, implementing standardized project management methodologies, and enhancing visibility into project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Setup and Jira Management

    • Set up new projects within Jira, including configuring workflows, permissions, and notifications to align with project requirements.
    • Design and manage custom dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into project statuses, team performance, and KPI tracking.
    • Create, manage, and optimize Jira queries and filters for efficient data retrieval and reporting across teams.
  • Methodology and Standardization

    • Define and implement project management methodologies, processes, and standards to drive consistency and efficiency across all projects.
    • Ensure consistency in project management practices by implementing best practices across diverse project teams.
    • Create and enforce policies, templates, and documentation standards, maintaining a centralized knowledge base for project management resources.
  • PMO Support and Collaboration

    • Support project planning and execution by maintaining comprehensive project documentation and ensuring project compliance with organizational standards.
    • Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams to address project requirements and improve efficiency through Jira enhancements.
    • Provide guidance and training to team members on Jira functionality, helping them utilize tools effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement and Reporting

    • Develop and implement PMO best practices, ensuring projects are in alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, quality, and alignment with project goals.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Technology (B.Tech) or higher.
  • Jira Expertise: Demonstrated experience in Jira setup, dashboard creation, and query/filters management is mandatory.
  • Project Management: Proven PMO experience, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle, governance, and standardized processes.
  • Methodology and Process Development: Strong skills in defining, implementing, and enforcing project management methodologies, standards, and documentation policies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze project data and deliver insights for continuous improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Adaptability: Experience working in fast-paced environments, adaptable to dynamic project requirements.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile (Scrum Master) would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and quality management frameworks such as ISO, CMMI, or SOC2.
  • Experience with PMO tools other than Jira (e.g., Asana, Trello) is a plus.
