Job Title: Family Medicine Physician
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (Northland area)
Base Salary: $240,000
Shift: Full-time, 32 clinical hours per week (4.5-day work week)
Weekend Requirements: One Saturday every other month (8 AM 2 PM) with compensatory days off before and after
On-Call: Minimal; 1:26 rotation with triage support handling calls until 6 PM

Job Overview:
This position offers an opportunity for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join a well-established, high-volume outpatient primary care practice. The incoming provider will step into a thriving panel due to an upcoming physician retirement and part-time transitions. The practice emphasizes comprehensive, patient-centered care with strong clinical support, advanced onsite services, and a focus on preventative and chronic disease management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for patients of all ages
  • Manage preventative, acute, and chronic medical conditions
  • Conduct in-office procedures such as joint injections, skin biopsies, wart and toenail removals, basic dermatology, and IUD insertion/removal
  • Review and interpret imaging studies with backup from a radiology group
  • Collaborate with a robust team including nurses, medical assistants, diabetic educators, and virtual scribes
  • Participate in a shared call schedule with minimal after-hours responsibility
  • Maintain accurate documentation within Oracle Health EMR
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and promote high-quality, evidence-based care

Required Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Current and valid medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Missouri
  • Proven experience in primary care, with strong focus on chronic disease and preventative care
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
  • Strong communication and patient relationship skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in outpatient clinical practice preferred
  • Familiarity with risk-adjusted coding (training and support available)
