Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a growing imaging team in Brunswick, GA. This opportunity offers a consistent night-shift schedule and the chance to work with a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Schedule

Night Shift: Wednesday - Saturday

Additional schedule details:

  • No weekly call requirements
  • Holiday call only, shared among department staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound examinations using established imaging protocols and techniques.
  • Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures.
  • Obtain and optimize high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Review images for technical quality and identify normal and abnormal findings.
  • Communicate relevant information and preliminary observations to radiologists and providers as appropriate.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any operational concerns.
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information.
  • Follow all departmental, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Current ultrasound certification required or eligible based on facility requirements.
  • Previous ultrasound experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, sonographic principles, and imaging protocols.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
