Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 total — $5,000 after 90 days and $5,000 after 12 months

Job Overview

A healthcare organization in Show Low, Arizona, is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team on the night shift.

The Radiologic Technologist will perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including general radiography, C-arm imaging, fluoroscopy, and trauma studies. This position supports imaging services across multiple hospital and outpatient locations and requires strong technical skills, patient-care abilities, and flexibility to assist with changing department needs.

Candidates must have at least two years of relevant Radiologic Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations
  • Perform portable and trauma-related imaging as needed
  • Operate C-arm equipment for surgical and procedural imaging
  • Assist with fluoroscopic examinations according to established protocols
  • Review and confirm physician orders prior to imaging procedures
  • Verify patient identity and ensure the correct examination is performed
  • Prepare and position patients accurately for each procedure
  • Select appropriate technical factors to obtain diagnostic-quality images
  • Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Explain procedures clearly and address patient questions
  • Maintain patient safety, dignity, privacy, and comfort
  • Serve as a patient advocate throughout the imaging process
  • Assist physicians and clinical staff during imaging procedures when needed
  • Review completed images for quality and completeness
  • Support other imaging modalities based on department needs and demonstrated competency
  • Mentor and teach radiology students
  • Assist with patient transportation when necessary
  • Answer and route department phone calls as needed
  • Participate in department meetings, in-services, seminars, and continuing education
  • Review and follow department and organizational policies and procedures
  • Participate in on-call coverage when required
  • Perform other imaging responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of two years of Radiologic Technologist experience
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Appropriate ARRT certification and Arizona licensure as required
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiography and radiation safety
  • Experience performing general radiographic examinations
  • Ability to produce consistently high-quality diagnostic images
  • Strong patient-positioning and technical imaging skills
  • Excellent communication and patient-care abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Ability to work independently during night-shift operations
  • Ability to participate in on-call coverage when required

Preferred

  • Acute-care hospital radiology experience
  • Trauma imaging experience
  • C-arm experience
  • Fluoroscopy experience
  • Experience assisting in multiple imaging modalities
  • Previous student-preceptor or clinical teaching experience

Sign-On & Relocation Support

Qualified candidates may be eligible for:

  • $5,000 sign-on payment after 90 days
  • $5,000 additional sign-on payment after 12 months
  • Up to $5,000 relocation assistance, typically payable on the first paycheck

The sign-on bonus does not require repayment after the applicable payment milestones are reached.

Relocation assistance requires a one-year employment commitment. Employees who leave before completing the commitment may be required to repay the relocation assistance.
