Location: Fort Worth, TX

Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 5 shifts per week, 40 hours per week

Salary Range: $33 - $48 per hour (based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 for qualified applicants

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our growing team. As an IR Tech, you will assist in a variety of complex diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, working closely with physicians and the healthcare team to provide exceptional care. This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, with cross-training opportunities for those interested in transitioning from radiography to interventional radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including cardiac and vascular interventions.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and preparation for procedures, maintaining sterile fields and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Monitor patient status during procedures, including ECG, vitals, and pressures, and communicate any variances to the physician.
  • Perform pre- and post-procedure care, including patient orientation and monitoring.
  • Document procedural details accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain procedure room supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in ongoing education, training, and development to stay current with best practices and new technologies in interventional radiology.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Radiography or related field.
  • ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) certification is required.
  • Must obtain one of the following certifications within two (2) years of hire:
  • ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI)
  • ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI)
  • ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • 2+ years of radiography experience.
