Job Title: Director - Women's Services
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Shift: Variable Shifts, 12-Hour Shifts
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Hourly Pay: $63.94
Job Overview:
You will oversee nursing operations, physician relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will also drive strategic planning, employee development, and performance management while fostering an empathetic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute strategic planning for the department, including mentoring, coaching, and succession planning.
- Manage and oversee physician relationships and physician engagement within the unit.
- Collaborate with marketing and nursing leadership to enhance community outreach and department visibility.
- Lead the development and oversight of quality initiatives, staffing guidelines, productivity metrics, and customer service goals.
- Ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory agency standards.
- Organize orientation and in-service training for staff members, and participate in guidance and educational programs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, standards, and programs that support the unit/department.
- Prepare and submit budget strategies and capital budgets for the unit/department.
- Use forecasted budgets to guide expenditure decisions and manage resources efficiently.
- Initiate activities to enhance revenues and support cost reduction and containment efforts.
- Demonstrate empathy and create a supportive and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required.
- If the applicant does not have a BSN, they must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program with a scheduled date of completion.
- Masters Degree in Nursing and/or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a management capacity.
- Certification in clinical specialty or nursing administration is preferred.
- Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
