Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health support in a correctional facility setting located in Vacaville, CA. This part-time contract role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a structured care environment, with the potential for contract extension or long-term state employment with full benefits if available.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as clinician-of-the-day for patient emergencies as scheduled
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and gather patient history through interviews
• Identify actual and potential behavioral health diagnoses and patient needs
• Plan and implement appropriate patient care plans based on clinical findings
• Collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and dependency programs
• Maintain timely, thorough, and accurate patient documentation
• Respond to patient calls and coordinate follow-ups or referrals promptly
• Deliver patient-centered care with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and empathy

Required Qualifications

• Experience: At least 12 continuous months within the last 3 years providing direct patient care in a public or private setting
• Licensure: Active California LCSW license (hard copy required)
• BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• Identification: Valid photo ID, Drivers License, or Passport
