Position Title: Director of Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory

Salary: $110,000 annually

Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Variable Shifts

Job Overview:

Join us as the Director of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory, where you will lead a team dedicated to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care. This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing the cath lab operations, ensuring exceptional care standards and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the cardiovascular catheterization lab, ensuring efficient and effective patient care and workflow.
  • Lead and develop a team of healthcare professionals, fostering an environment that encourages growth, learning, and exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless, integrated care that enhances patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Manage compliance with regulatory standards, including The Joint Commission (TJC) and state regulations, ensuring all practices meet or exceed required standards.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance programs, including performance improvement initiatives and compliance with clinical protocols.
  • Develop and manage the department's budget, optimizing resource allocation and financial performance.
  • Engage in strategic planning for the cath lab, setting goals that align with the hospital's vision and operational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Florida or a recognized compact licensure agreement.
  • BSN required; MSN or related healthcare administration degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of director-level experience in an acute care cath lab setting. Candidates with 3+ years of experience in a managerial role within a cath lab will also be considered.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications, or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date.
