Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $32 - $53
Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Medical Telemetry Unit. This 38-bed unit offers a rich learning environment with a variety of medical diagnoses and comorbidities, providing you with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients with conditions such as sepsis, chest pain, and GI abnormalities.
- Provide care for patients requiring isolation or admission to negative airflow rooms.
- Administer diagnostic procedures, including thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, and pacemaker insertions.
- Manage cardiac monitoring for patients with chest pain or arrhythmias.
- Perform enteral feeding tube insertion and maintenance, as well as nasogastric tube care.
- Collaborate with a highly engaged team and supportive management to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in a robust Unit-Based Council to enhance patient outcomes and nursing practices.
- Educate patients and their families about care plans and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and valid nursing license.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of starting.
- Previous experience in telemetry or critical care nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
