Shift Notes: First Shift, Monday - Friday with flexible hours. May include weekends based on case load.

Job Overview:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will provide mobile imaging services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. You will be responsible for operating portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to obtain clinically diagnostic X-ray images and submit them for interpretation. You may also perform EKGs as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
  • Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment and take it to facilities to perform ordered exams.
  • Perform EKGs and transmit them for cardiologist interpretation as needed.
  • Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol.
  • Regularly communicate with management, peers, dispatch, and clients in a professional manner.
  • Maintain and operate the mobile X-ray equipment and vehicle properly.

Physical Demands:

  • Radiologic technologists may push/pull between 50 100 lbs. Using ramps and pulleys helps reduce this weight, but during facility setups, up to 50 lbs. of force may be needed multiple times a day.

Qualifications:

  • Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 is required unless an exemption is documented.

  • ARRT Certification

State License Requirements:

  • Massachusetts License Required
  • Limited licenses are not accepted.
