  • Matthews: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Rotating weekends and on-call duties required
  • Pay Rate: $36.00+/hour (shift differential available)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join a mobile diagnostic imaging team in Norfolk, VA. This position offers flexibility in shift schedules and exposure to a diverse range of patient settings, including skilled nursing facilities, correctional facilities, and home health environments. Candidates should be motivated, able to work independently, and committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
  • Transmit images to Radiologists for interpretation.
  • Transport, unload, and set up X-ray equipment in various environments, including correctional facilities and patient homes.
  • Conduct EKGs (if required) and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
  • Accurately complete and upload exam-related paperwork and billing documentation daily.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with dispatch and management.
  • Interact professionally with patients, clients, and team members.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of assigned vehicle and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of Virginia.
  • ARRT Certification (or eligibility).
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously in the field.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, including rotating weekends and on-call.
