Position Title: MRI Technologist

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM

On-call Requirement: On-call 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM, 24 hours during weekends every 5th week

Weekend Requirement: Only when on-call

Holiday Requirement: Rotational

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Salary Range: $32.82 - $42.63 per hour, with shift/weekend/on-call differentials (to be discussed during the interview)

Job Summary:

As an MRI Technologist, you will be pivotal in producing high-quality MR images and providing exceptional patient care. You will operate state-of-the-art MRI equipment, including Siemens 1.5 T Sola, and adhere to stringent safety protocols to ensure optimal outcomes for patients. The role involves maintaining proficiency with various EMR and imaging systems and participating actively in ongoing professional development.

General Duties:

  • Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols to ensure the capture of appropriate diagnostic information.
  • Manage patient positioning and comfort during scans, prioritizing safety and care.
  • Participate in on-call duties as scheduled, providing after-hours care and support.
  • Engage in continuous learning related to MRI technologies, patient care, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiology and medical teams to discuss imaging processes and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least one year of experience in an MRI role, ideally with exposure to high-volume or emergency settings.
  • Experience with Siemens MRI systems and familiarity with Cerner and Unity PACS preferred.
  • Experience with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in handling patients with pacemakers.
  • Familiarity with Philips Achieva 1.5T MRI systems is a plus.
  • Strong ability to adapt to various clinical environments and patient needs.
