Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele
Location: Grapevine, TX
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
Salary Range: $32 - $53 per hour (based on experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit for the night shift. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals requiring telemetry monitoring. This role is crucial for managing patients with complex health conditions and ensuring continuous observation of heart rhythms in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, prioritize care needs, and create individualized care plans.
- Continuously monitor patients vital signs, especially heart rhythms, utilizing telemetry equipment.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following care protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care, including physicians, healthcare staff, and family members.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to ensure better health outcomes.
- Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and care progress in the electronic medical record system.
- Maintain patient safety through effective communication and by adhering to hospital safety standards.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families, ensuring a compassionate approach to care.
- Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes in the unit.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- A current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- Experience with telemetry and medical-surgical nursing preferred.
