Job Title: Cardiovascular Invasive Technician

Location: Marble Falls, TX

Shift: 10-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), 4 shifts per week, 40 hours per week. Monday Friday. No weekends, no holidays, no call.

Salary Range: $33 - $48 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Technician to join our Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology team. In this role, you will assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including arteriograms, catheterizations, and pacemaker implantations. You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including peripheral and coronary catheterizations and thrombolytic therapy.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields for procedures, ensuring a safe environment.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and ECG during procedures and provide emergency care as needed (e.g., CPR, defibrillation).
  • Perform pre- and post-procedure patient care, including monitoring and patient orientation.
  • Transport patients to and from the procedural area, answering any questions to ensure patient comfort and relaxation.
  • Accurately document medical information and procedure data, including catheterization data, gradients, cardiac outputs, and peripheral stenosis.
  • Maintain compliance with national and state radiation protection regulations.
  • Manage inventory and ensure that procedure rooms are well-stocked and equipment is functioning properly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Less than 1 year of clinical experience (1 year preferred).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  • Knowledge of invasive cardiac and vascular instrumentation and techniques.
  • Ability to multi-task, demonstrate precision, and solve problems efficiently.
  • Computer literacy and use of basic office equipment required.
