Hourly Range: $20.00 - $26.00 (based on years of experience)
Salary Range: $41,600 - $54,080
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Robbinsdale Cancer Center. The LPN will manage customer flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in delivering individualized care to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This role focuses on collaborative and delegated tasks in alignment with the Blaze Health scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical and clerical tasks to facilitate the management of customer flow.
- Conduct standard rooming processes, administer immunizations, injections, and other medications as directed by providers.
- Collect laboratory specimens as needed.
- Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between customers and providers.
- Assist with prescription refills and perform phlebotomy duties.
- Conduct clinic laboratory tests and, if qualified, perform x-ray duties.
- Provide front desk/check-in support and assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
- Help with prior authorizations and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Understand and adhere to the Corporate Code of Conduct and protect customer and team member privacy.
- Report any violations or concerns to the supervisor or Corporate Compliance Officer.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, accrediting, and procedural requirements relevant to the role.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent (GED) required.
- Medical Assistant Program: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
- Certification: Medical Assistant certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting required. Passing the x-ray operators exam or willingness to take the exam is required based on clinic needs.
- BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
