Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computed Tomography (CT) and will be responsible for performing a variety of CT imaging procedures. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans as per physician orders and established protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and answering questions to ensure their comfort and understanding.
  • Evaluate CT images for technical quality and accuracy before submission to the Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Maintain CT equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and report any issues to the appropriate department.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in CT scanning procedures and equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Licensed or eligible to obtain a state license as a CT Technologist.
  • Prior experience working as a CT Technologist is preferred.
