Salary:

  • Starting Salary for New Grads: $30.90/hour
  • Salary Range for Experienced Candidates: Up to $46.43/hour, depending on experience and additional modalities.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist - CT/Xray to join our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both CT and X-Ray imaging and will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This full-time position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and offers competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT and X-Ray procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions to ensure patient comfort.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure that it is operating efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Document procedures and maintain patient records accurately.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of CT and X-Ray imaging techniques and protocols.
  • Ability to operate radiologic and CT equipment proficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation (diploma or certificate) from an accredited JRCERT School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Licensed in the state of Oregon or eligible to obtain an Oregon license.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a hospital Radiology Department.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience operating a CT scanner in a hospital or clinic setting.
