Salary:
- Starting Salary for New Grads: $30.90/hour
- Salary Range for Experienced Candidates: Up to $46.43/hour, depending on experience and additional modalities.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist - CT/Xray to join our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both CT and X-Ray imaging and will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This full-time position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and offers competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT and X-Ray procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions to ensure patient comfort.
- Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain equipment and ensure that it is operating efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Document procedures and maintain patient records accurately.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of CT and X-Ray imaging techniques and protocols.
- Ability to operate radiologic and CT equipment proficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Graduation (diploma or certificate) from an accredited JRCERT School of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensed in the state of Oregon or eligible to obtain an Oregon license.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a hospital Radiology Department.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience operating a CT scanner in a hospital or clinic setting.
