Location: Marble Falls, TX

Shift: 12 HR Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Shifts per Week: 3 (36 scheduled hours)

Hourly Rate: $25 - $36

Bonus: $10,000 sign-on bonus

Job Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Multimodality Technologist for our Radiology Department in Marble Falls, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where you will perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures. You will be responsible for preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, maintaining a sterile work environment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Utilize AIDET communication to identify patient service requirements and establish rapport.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, positioning them correctly and adjusting equipment as needed.
  • Follow safety, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, including proper sterile techniques.
  • Maintain medical imaging records in accordance with department policies.
  • Perform routine quality control checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Educate patients and their families on procedures and post-exam care.
  • Assist in training new team members and participating in cross-training initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Program.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required.
  • Licensure/Certification:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in at least two imaging modalities. Approved modalities include: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, ARRT-MR, ARRT-M, ARRT-S, ARRT-VI, RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, RVT, CNMT, etc.
