- Friday - Sunday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Expansion Positions (Starting in January 2025):
- Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple imaging modalities, providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients. As a Multimodality Technologist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely imaging, adhering to established protocols, and delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures according to exam protocols, ensuring accuracy and compliance with system and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles to ensure correct exams and establish a positive rapport.
- Prepare patients and procedure areas, including positioning patients, adjusting equipment, and setting exposure factors.
- Adhere to safety requirements, infection control, and radiation protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of equipment, collaborating with engineers and physicists for optimal performance.
- Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and maintain medical imaging records in accordance with department policies.
- Serve as a preceptor, providing training and guidance to new team members.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Less than 1 year of experience in a multimodality role (new graduates welcome).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Licensed by the State of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) unless the role is specific to MRI or Ultrasound.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in two imaging modalities, working at least 50% of the time in the second modality.
