Shift End Time: 07:00 AM

Minimum Rate Per Hour: $32

Maximum Rate Per Hour: $53

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), you will oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include conducting detailed patient assessments, recognizing health issues, creating and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, and create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, managing discomfort and maintaining professionalism.
  • Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and the community to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Delegate tasks carefully and ensure follow-up to maintain safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.
  • Solve problems efficiently, recognizing limitations and prioritizing patient safety and quality care.
  • Foster teamwork, recognize contributions, and commit to personal and professional growth.

What Will Make You Successful In The Role:

  • A deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, procedures, and hospital rules.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, with a focus on health, disease prevention, and management.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
  • Specialized field of study: Nursing
  • Current and valid nursing license
  • Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role
