Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), you will oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include conducting detailed patient assessments, recognizing health issues, creating and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, and create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, managing discomfort and maintaining professionalism.
- Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare decisions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and the community to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Delegate tasks carefully and ensure follow-up to maintain safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.
- Solve problems efficiently, recognizing limitations and prioritizing patient safety and quality care.
- Foster teamwork, recognize contributions, and commit to personal and professional growth.
What Will Make You Successful In The Role:
- A deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, procedures, and hospital rules.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, with a focus on health, disease prevention, and management.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- Specialized field of study: Nursing
- Current and valid nursing license
- Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role
