Position Title: StaRN Residency Program Participant

Salary: $29.62 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, variable shifts

Program Start Dates: February 27, July 17, September 18, October 30

Job Summary:

We invite newly graduated registered nurses and those looking to transition back into acute care to apply for our StaRN Residency Program. This comprehensive program is designed to bridge the gap between academic training and real-world job responsibilities through intensive training and mentorship. Program Details:

  • Tailored tracks available in Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Unit, and Emergency Department.
  • Dynamic and structured training comprising classroom instruction, skills training, simulations, and hands-on clinical experience.
  • Full integration into Trident Medical Centers team with ongoing support and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate fully in training sessions and adhere to the curriculum schedule.
  • Apply learned concepts and skills to real-world clinical scenarios.
  • Engage with mentors, educators, and peers to enhance professional growth and patient care skills.
  • Commit to delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare services under supervision.
  • Transition into a competent nurse practitioner capable of handling responsibilities in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate nurse or nurse transitioning back to acute care; associate degree holders welcome.
  • Must pass the NCLEX-RN prior to the start of the residency program.
  • Commitment to a two-year, full-time employment contract with Trident Medical Center upon completion of the program.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment to learning and professional growth.
