Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $29.00 to $40.00, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Medical Surgical RN to join our Renal Vascular team. In this role, you will provide care to ill, injured, and recovering adults in a patient-centered care model. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage treatment autonomously while working collaboratively with a supportive team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation.
  • Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Analyze assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Act as a patient safety advocate and ensure the effective use of time, supplies, and equipment.
  • Educate patients about their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support to patients and their families throughout their stay.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Florida or multistate compact licensure required.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of acute care RN experience required (open to any RN experience).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required prior to start.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption.
