Hourly Pay Range: $32 - $53

Job Overview:

Join our exceptional team as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Urology, providing high-quality care to patients within our surgical inpatient unit. You will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring positive patient outcomes. This role involves working with urology, colon, and rectal patients in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to urology, colon, and rectal patients.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Provide ostomy care, maintenance, and patient education as part of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize critical thinking to manage high-acuity patients and contribute to improving patient outcomes.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in surgical inpatient care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
  • At least one year of inpatient hospital RN experience, preferably in surgical or urology care.
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
