Hourly Rate: $37.98 per hour

Job Overview:

The Vascular Technologist performs comprehensive echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures in accordance with ICAEL/ICAVL protocols to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and vascular conditions. The technologist is responsible for providing high-quality imaging and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all echo and vascular procedures, following ICAEL/ICAVL protocols to obtain accurate diagnostic results.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Use ultrasound equipment proficiently to capture clear, diagnostic images.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of procedures performed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide patient care.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of ultrasound equipment.
  • Follow established safety guidelines and procedures during imaging.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform all echo and vascular procedures according to ICAEL/ICAVL protocol.
  • Current CPR certification.

Qualifications:

  • One (1) year of related experience in echo and vascular ultrasound.
  • Completion of an accredited Echo/Vascular Ultrasound program.
  • Registry Certification in Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound.
