Location: Temple, TX

Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Call: 1-2 days per pay period)

Shifts Per Week: 5

Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $25 - $36 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (for external candidates only)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our evening shift team in the Emergency Room setting. You will play a critical role in performing high-quality radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, and delivering excellent care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiologic imaging procedures following established protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and providing reassurance.
  • Maintain and adjust equipment controls to ensure accurate imaging.
  • Follow safety guidelines, including infection control and radiation protection measures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to assist in diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging equipment and work areas.
  • Assist with inventory management and ensure that supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Serve as a preceptor for training new team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or within 90 days of hire).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diagnostic technologist.
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Computed Tomography (C.T.), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Special Procedures.
