Location: College Station, TX

Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts (Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Scheduled Hours: 36 Hours Per Week

Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour (Increased weekend differential)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our weekend team. You will be responsible for performing high-quality radiology procedures according to protocol and ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients during diagnostic imaging exams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiology procedures in a timely manner, following established protocols and standards
  • Utilize AIDET communication techniques to ensure patients understand the procedures and feel comfortable
  • Position patients, adjust immobilization devices, and configure equipment controls to set appropriate exposure factors
  • Follow all safety protocols, including infection control, drug, and radiation policies
  • Maintain equipment, report issues, and assist with inventory management
  • Ensure all relevant documentation, such as patient history, consent forms, and requisitions, are obtained and properly recorded
  • Maintain medical imaging records in a timely and accurate manner according to departmental policies
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care
  • Serve as a preceptor by providing training to new team members and assisting with new services and initiatives
  • Be available to take call if required

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Experience: Previous radiology experience preferred
  • Certification/License:
  • ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
