Location: Temple, TX
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36
Hourly Rate: $32 - $53
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ortho Trauma Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Temple, TX. This 35-bed unit provides care to a diverse patient population, ranging from trauma patients with complex fractures to those undergoing elective joint replacements. You will have the opportunity to manage and provide hands-on care to patients requiring telemetry, tracheotomy care, and much more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the nursing team by assessing, planning, and delegating tasks for optimal patient care.
- Provide bedside nursing care based on the patients specific needs.
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient outcomes are met.
- Participate in hourly rounding, maintain safety protocols, and ensure compliance with care standards.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- At least two (2) years of nursing experience, with experience in trauma, orthopedics, or progressive care preferred.
- Current RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire).
