Schedule: 1st shift, 8-hour shifts including weekdays and weekends
Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,330

Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Coordinator (MHC) for a full-time contract assignment in a correctional facility in Dilley, TX. This role provides direct, non-medical mental health services to an incarcerated population. Candidates must be comfortable in secure settings and able to complete federal clearance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental health screenings and clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support
• Document evaluations and treatments in patient medical records
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility and clinical standards
• Apply evidence-based psychological counseling techniques and practices

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
• Active, unrestricted LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in Texas
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable role
• Must be a U.S. Citizen for ICE clearance (required for submission)
• ICE Clearance Screening Form must be submitted
• Must reside 70+ miles away from the facility
• Must be able to start within 2 weeks of clearance
  
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid drivers license preferred
• Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays
• No RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed during assignment
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience in correctional or forensic mental health settings
• Active AHA BLS certification
