Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
What Youll Do
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
- Create, implement, and evaluate care plans, adjusting them to reach desired outcomes.
- Build relationships and manage patient discomfort while maintaining professionalism.
- Educate patients, families, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a care plan, delegate tasks carefully, and follow up promptly.
- Utilize different strategies for problem-solving, prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
- Achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, and commit to growth.
What Will Make You Successful In The Role
- Deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards and procedures.
- Knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines.
- Proficiency in medical terms, focusing on health, disease prevention, management, and common medications.
- Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.
- Exceptional communication skills, allowing for clear expression of thoughts both verbally and in writing.
- Positive social skills to facilitate interactions with a diverse range of individuals.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Program
- Specialized field of study in nursing
- A current and valid nursing license
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of starting)
