Hours/Day: 10 hours

Shift Notes: 4 X 10s, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Weekend Requirements: Based on case load may require overtime

Relocation: Possible, to be discussed at interview

State Licensure Reimbursement: Available after 90 days of employment

Role Overview:

The CT/MRI Technologist is responsible for providing mobile diagnostic imaging services, including X-ray and CT/MRI scans, to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous locations. This role involves operating portable radiology equipment and driving a company vehicle to perform exams as ordered by physicians. The technologist will ensure quality diagnostic imaging and maintain professional communication with peers, management, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate portable (DR) or (CR) radiology equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
  • Travel to various locations using a company-provided vehicle to perform X-ray/CT exams as ordered by physicians.
  • Obtain and scan required exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily, following protocol.
  • Regularly communicate with dispatch, management, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain and care for radiology equipment and vehicle.
  • Assist in training other technologists as required.
  • Perform special projects or other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Physical Demands:

  • Technologists may be required to push or pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs.
  • Use of ramps and pulleys reduces the weight; however, the force applied may occur 16-24 times a day.

Certification Requirements:

  • ARRT (R.T) in MRI/CT required.

State License Requirements:

  • Limited License not accepted.
