Location: Round Rock, Texas

Salary: $33 - $48 per hour, depending on experience

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Shift Details:

  • Days Per Week: 4
  • Total Hours Per Week: 40

Current Available Shifts:

  • 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Expansion Positions (Starting January 2025):
  • 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Saturday - Monday)
  • 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologists to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with exam protocols and established standards. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate imaging, patient comfort, and safety. We offer flexible work schedules and a supportive environment that values work-life balance and career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, ensuring they are conducted in a timely manner and according to established protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles to ensure correct exams and establish rapport.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Adhere to safety, infection-control, drug, and radiation protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of equipment and work areas.
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance and report any issues to management.
  • Maintain accurate medical imaging records and documentation according to department standards.
  • Serve as a preceptor, providing quality training to new team members and on new services and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Certification/License/Registration: Must be registered in one of the following:
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) OB/GYN, Abdomen, Breast, Musculoskeletal, or Vascular (RVT or RVS)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Sonography or Breast Sonography
  • Cardio Credentialing International (CCI) Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS)
