Role:
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will provide essential diagnostic imaging services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities using portable X-ray and EKG equipment. You will be responsible for transporting and operating digital or computed radiography equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images are obtained for physician interpretation. This role involves traveling to various locations, requiring strong communication and time-management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment from company-provided vehicles and perform exams at designated facilities.
- Ensure that all X-ray images obtained are clinically diagnostic and meet professional standards.
- Perform EKGs as needed and transmit the results to a cardiologist for interpretation (if required).
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol.
- Maintain communication with peers, management, dispatch, and clients in a professional manner.
- Ensure proper care, maintenance, and storage of X-ray equipment.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to push/pull between 50 100 lbs. Using ramps and pulleys reduces this weight; however, in certain situations within facilities or homes, the weight may increase, requiring up to 50 lbs. of force multiple times a day.
Qualifications:
- Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT certification.
- Valid drivers license in good standing.
- Vaccination against COVID-19 is required. Documentation is required for exemption requests.
