Location: College Station, TX
Shift: 12 HR Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 Hours
Hourly Rate: $32 - $53 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care through the development and implementation of individualized therapy programs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, communicating effectively with patients and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients according to individualized therapy plans.
- Modify therapy programs and goals as necessary to achieve the best outcomes.
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation and enter charges correctly.
- Educate patients, families, and staff about the therapy process and patient care.
- Supervise ancillary staff, students, and volunteers during therapy sessions.
- Advance clinical skills through continuous education and application of evidence-based practice.
- Adhere to organizational, state, and national regulatory guidelines and standards.
- Align personal and work goals with system objectives to contribute to overall success.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy, plus 2 years of relevant experience above the minimum qualifications.
- Less than 1 year of direct experience in the field.
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
