Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro/ICU

Location: Dallas, TX

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36

Hourly Pay Range: $32 - $53

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic and fast-paced Neuro Intensive Care Unit. As part of our exceptional team, you will provide critical care to non-trauma neurosurgical patients, stroke patients, and those undergoing neurovascular surgeries, specialized spine care, and seizure management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to Neuro ICU patients following established nursing practices and hospital protocols.
  • Monitor and assess patients, ensuring timely response to changes in their conditions.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including neuro specialists, nurse practitioners, stroke coordinators, and educators, to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital policies.
  • Engage in ongoing education and development through unit-based practice councils and professional training opportunities.
  • Participate in shared governance and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to a healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
  • Minimum 1 year of Neuro ICU experience required.
  • Current RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
