Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Hematology

Location: Temple, Texas

Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $32 - $53

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oncology Hematology team. As a member of our dynamic nursing team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with various oncological and hematological conditions. You will have the opportunity to administer advanced therapies such as high-dose chemotherapy, CAR T-cell therapy, and work with a wide range of patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a 38-bed telemetry-monitored unit, managing patients with conditions such as medical oncology, surgical oncology, hematological disorders, and those undergoing radiation therapy.
  • Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, and other treatments per established protocols.
  • Monitor patients receiving continuous cardiac telemetry, provide patient education, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Use evidence-based practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current and valid RN license
  • BLS certification (or within 30 days of hire)
  • Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required
