Shift :Variable (Rotating Weekends)

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift Duration: 12 hour

Hourly Rate: $33.60 to $50.40, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Overview:

As an OR Registered Nurse, you will join a highly skilled and compassionate interdisciplinary team focused on providing excellent surgical care. You will be responsible for making an impactful difference in the lives of patients and collaborating closely with the surgical services team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care for various patient age groups, including adult, adolescent, geriatric, and pediatric populations.
  • Prepare for surgeries by ensuring adequate stock and proper equipment availability in assigned areas.
  • Assist with cleaning and preparing the operating room between procedures, managing supplies, and setting up for subsequent procedures.
  • Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource to other team members, delegating tasks based on competency levels.
  • Rotate to different areas as needed and perform only duties that match your demonstrated skills and qualifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of [STATE] or active multi-state RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Minimum one year of perioperative (OR) nursing experience.
  • ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • CNOR certification preferred.
