Location: Plano, TX
Schedule: 3x12 Hour Day Shift, 7:00am to 7:00pm
Salary Range:
- Minimum: $84,849
- Midpoint: $106,059
- Maximum: $127,274
- (Based on years of experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case basis
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead its Cardiac Stepdown Unit. This position plays a pivotal role in managing clinical operations, staff development, and patient care delivery for a high-acuity cardiac population. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and clinical leadership for the Cardiac Stepdown Unit.
- Ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care is consistently delivered.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and medical staff to coordinate care plans and operational goals.
- Oversee unit staffing, budgeting, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead efforts in staff education, performance improvement, and regulatory readiness.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing required; Masters Degree preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of progressive leadership experience in a cardiac or stepdown setting strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
