Job Description:
As the Lead Radiologic Technologist, you will oversee the daily operations of technologists within your area. This role requires leadership in ensuring productivity standards are met and that company policies and procedures are followed. Additionally, you will perform X-rays and EKGs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-rays using portable radiographic equipment and submit images for interpretation.
- Perform EKGs and transmit results for interpretation.
- Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment to patient bedside and obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images.
- Enter patient demographics in the computer system, scan films, and transmit them to the reading center.
- Maintain accurate records of work hours and deliver them to the manager in a timely manner.
- Work with the Area Operations Manager to schedule technologists and ensure proper customer service levels.
- Conduct quarterly image reviews of 15 or more images to maintain high-quality exam standards and provide feedback to technologists.
- Cross-train technical staff across all applicable modalities.
- Conduct spot checks to ensure vehicles and equipment are well-maintained.
- Provide on-call assistance for the team, and back-up on-call if necessary.
- Maintain upkeep on all DR/CR equipment including monthly checks on cords, attachments, DR plates, pre-inspection checklists, and QC programs.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to push/pull between 50100 lbs using ramps and pulleys to transport radiographic equipment.
- May require lifting the equipment, and the force required to push/pull equipment can occur 16-24 times per day.
